The Importance of play

Loungey™ play couches make for excellent Pirate ships, wonderfully comfortable seats where one can snuggle up and read a story book, or a thousand other imaginative ideas that our children will create. But as with all products that are going to be used daily by the small creatures that we love most, they should not be used without adult supervision. The Loungey™ play couch is designed to be used in open spaces and caution should be taken when using it on hard surfaces. If your little Lounger is extra adventurous, we highly recommend sticking with setups that are close to the ground. As the Loungey™ play couch is made from foam & therefore by nature, a flexible and lightweight material; the product should not be used as a launch pad, or gymnastics. Loungey™ was designed to give your little lounge monster endless options for open-ended, imaginative play, but we are not responsible or liable for the end use of our products.

We take safety very seriously at Loungey™, and when it comes to the materials, we use we only invest in the best. Whilst our high-quality micro-suede cover fabrics are soft and durable, we have also ensured that they are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified to be free of harmful substances. Our foam is CertiPUR-US certified which is the industry gold standard in foam and exceeds safety standards. Our foam is mercury, lead, and formaldehyde free, and VOCs are minimal to protect indoor air quality. And we have chosen to manufacture our play couches with child friendly YKK zippers, which are designed to be neatly hidden to minimise any chance of injury to children.

No harmful flame-retardant chemicals are applied to the foam or fabric of our play couches.
